Welcome to our new web site. Our wonderful son-in-law, Jon Pitt has been working very hard on it, thank you Jon.

We are finally back home to Arlington, WA. We have been in Scottsdale, AZ since the second week of February. We sure enjoyed the warm weather of Arizona while there. There was a lot more rain then usual, but it was still warmer. We hit two snow storms on our way home.

We would like to thank, Cathy Jensen and Chris Anderson and all those Coastal Carvers who helped to put on another great show in Lincoln City, Oregon, in January. We always have a fun and successful time there and enjoy seeing all of our good friends and customers.

A couple of weeks after the Oregon show we headed south to Arizona. While in Arizona we got to spend some time with our daughter, Alison and her husband Jon. They also have their own business, www.SuperluxeFibers.com so they are very busy just like us, but we managed a couple of outings and several meals together, but never as much time together as we would of liked. Bonnie worked in their shop one day, so she could spend time with them. She was assured she always has a job there.

The third weekend in February brings the Dessert Woodcarvers show in Mesa, Arizona. They put on a wonderful show and had a great attendance. We would like to thank all those who worked so hard to put on such a big show. We got to meet carvers from all over the country, who are snowbirds in Arizona. We really enjoyed meeting all of you.

The second week of March we were in Hemet, California. Gil taught a three day class with a terrific group of carvers. They carved a "whittle people" Everyone seemed to enjoy the class and learned a lot. That weekend we attended the Ramona Country Carvers Show. We would like to thank Joe Peery and all those who worked so hard to put on a great show. Again it was fun to meet some of our internet and phone order customers. We have GREAT CUSTOMERS!

March 25th we packed up to leave Arizona for another year and headed north to Salt Lake City, to attend the Great Salt Lake Woodcarvers Show and Competition. We would like to thank George Jay and Marilyn Ure, and all those helpers for putting on another great show. We really enjoy attending the shows, we get to see all the wonderful carving that is going on and its like old home week, seeing old friends and making new ones. We really appreciate all of our customers and we strive to please you.

We are back home in Washington and hard at work. We will be heading to Salem, Oregon, on April 10th for their show. The third weekend of April is our home club show, Quilceda Carvers 25th Annual show, www.quilcedacarvers.org Those of you in the area please come help us celebrate 25 years of a great carving show and club.

Thank you for your patronage and we hope we get to meet you at one of the shows we attend.

We would like to apologize to any of our customers who may have been inconvenienced by delays in delivery time while we were traveling during the last 2 months. Thank you for your patience.

Happy carving

Gil and Bonnie Drake
